Dr. Elizabeth Harting, DDS

Dentist

Dr. Ellie Harting grew up in Brainerd, MN, where both sides of her large family have deep roots. With her father in healthcare and her mother in banking, Ellie quickly realized she was drawn to the people-centered and dynamic nature of healthcare. She developed a passion for ceramics in high school and continued taking ceramics courses throughout college, fostering her appreciation for creativity and working with her hands. Dentistry ultimately felt like the perfect combination of her interests in science, creativity, and connecting with people.

She earned her undergraduate degree in biology from Concordia College in Moorhead before attending the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. During dental school, she developed an interest in both restorative and surgical dentistry and was selected for the Honors Oral Surgery rotation during her fourth year of dental school. She enjoys the variety that general dentistry offers and is committed to being a lifelong learner. She plans to pursue continuing education throughout her career, particularly early on, to continually build her skills and stay current with evolving techniques, technology, and advances in dentistry.

Dr. Ellie especially enjoys getting to know her patients and building lasting relationships with them. She strives to create a friendly, comfortable environment where patients can feel at ease during their visits—even if it is in a dental chair.

When she’s not practicing dentistry, Dr. Ellie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, training and spending time with her dogs, tackling DIY projects, and staying active through water sports, snowboarding, golf, and working out.

I felt seen as a person and not a customer.

The most caring, compassionate and patient focused people one could ask for:) After putting off much needed dental work for far too long due to mental health issues, a poor experience with a past dentist, and a rough last year, I could not have imagined a better visit. Dr. Moran passed no judgement and provided assurance throughout that I will be taken care of. I felt seen as a person and not a customer. Dr. Moran clearly discussed treatment options, costs and concerns with me in a private setting. The women at the front desk assisted me with paperwork, scheduling an appointment with the referred specialist, and had nothing but kind words and sentiments.
